So i made some cup cats last Friday. I think they are so cute and hilarious! :) What do you reckon?
They are made of linen and have a embroidered little snout and big fluffy ears. I found those mugs at a local second hand shop and fell in love with the pretty off white color.

Now im off to see a movie on the telly and then to bed. Here in Sweden its about 22.30 now and Im actually sleepy for a change.

Oh, befor i forget, i have another shop at etsy now, and there will it be mostly vintage and up cycled items. Welcome to visit me!

Seconhand shopping again

Oh i just love going to second hand shops and go through all the shelfs, boxes and cabinets trying to find just the right items. It is such a rush when i find something extra special that makes my heart beat a bit faster! :) This time i found a small ring that did just that. Funny thing is that i dont even wear rings, but hey, its pretty, its white and it is a rose, so you dont hear any complaints from me. :)
I also found some old pillow cases and jewelery! Wow, it is not often enough i find sparkly things in the stores around here.

Yepp, i finally made it to a second hand shop again. Oh i have missed it so much and what did i get? A little frame and some old shabby velvet ribbons. Well well, better luck next time huh!? :)

Pretty bracelets

Not much has happened lately. Right now im home blowing my nose, since i got the flue and i spend loads of time browsing the net and also watching old series on the telly.
I do miss my thrift store hunts a lot, so tomorrow, runny nose or not, IM GOING! I cant wait for the feeling of old frames, shabby furniture and pretty laces under my fingers. :))

Since im updating i though i could post a pic of one of the new cuff bracelets i have in my etsy shop. And please, come and check my swedish blog too, its lots of pictures so i think you will have a good time! :)

So finally a update here aswell! Hurray! :)
I have made a paper mache kitty again, this time its coverd with old note sheets i found at the local flea market and the inside is adorned with old stamps. Pretty cute huh! :)
Its now for sale at my Etsy shop, and yes, i ship internationally aswell.

brag a bit about myself! Im so happy i almost want to through up! :)) I have now sold my first items at Etsy! Wow! Usually i only sell my stuff locally so this is totally a new experiense for me and it feels really good. Now i just hope the buyer will like them!

Im not finnished with anything of my lastest projekt, so i dont know what to post about today. Since my blog cravings got to big im just going for it anyways. ;)

Im selling stuff on a swedish "ebay" site, called Tradera and have been updating it all night. Thought i would show you the cute scale i use to check my packages befor i post them. I like when beauty and functionallity goes hand in hand.

While i packed clothes to send them to buyers my cat Pip just lay at the window, sleeping. Some have all the luck. :)

This weekend i have done alot! On saturday morning me and mum whent thrifthunting at the local flea markets. Ofcourse i did not get up as early as i had planned. I got stuck on Etsy.com , i wanted to make my very first Treasury and actually manage to play on time! :) We were over 1000 people wating for the fun to begin!
At the flea markets i did not find that much this time, only that candleholder and some lace. But i did find that pretty shelf earlier this week. Oh i just love it so much! I have seen them around on the net but have not found my own until now.

In the evening i went with my friend Helené and her family to se Arsenic and Old Lace performed by Teater Gazbazz at our local theater here in town. It was really fun and i enjoyed the actors performences. Such a good laugh for us who like comedy!

lovelyness! I collect pink eggcups, so far i dont have all that many but im getting there. I do know one is blue, but it is so picture perfect so it has to be counted in to the collection aswell. ;) What do you collect?

Im ready to go to bed, but thought i post a photo of my latest project. Redecoration of the livingroom. Earlier i have always loved the white little rugged shabby chic style, and i still do. But lately I have found myself drawn to the more glamouros style with regancy and zebra rugs. Since i cant afford new furnitures right now, i had to make due of what i got at home and this is the result. Lets see how long it will look like this until i change it back to all white again. :) And no, the sofa is not dirty...dont know what happend with the photo.

Ok, so i do know this is not right to do, but i cant help myself. They are just too cute! I want you to see them!
Im a huge fan of Marie Claires Ideés and have subscribed for a long time. I can always count on being inspired to my toetips everytime it arriwes to my home. Well, today it came and yes, im totally in heaven right now. Just look and adore the beautyful aprons! I cant get enough! :)

Cupcakes on a sunday afternoon

I have cleaned the hole day so in the evening i thought i could do something more fun, like baking. For real, since when do i think baking is fun? Well, i went to the store and bought some ingredients and mixed it together and hurray, it actually tasted like cupcakes. Jummy! Raspberry and lemon with choclat frosting.

I eat two of them and i think im still in some suger chock here. Well, now off to bed, see you next week!

Fleemarket

My friend Lotta is checking out this suitcase, she is going to Thailand on a vacation in a couple of weeks. But maybe its better to bring a newer model for that kind of trip? ;)

Im a collector of small mirrors. First i thought i would have them on tables to put candles on them. But now im thinking it could be really cute to hang a larger group on the wall. What do you think?

I also collect DDR ceramics. They come in beautiful pastell colors. Love love love them! They make my kitchen so cute and special.

I know i have been a really bad blogger. Both this and my swedish blog has been slow this week. All my time has gone to set up my new shop at Etsy. It would be really nice if you visited it. :)
But i do had some time over to go thriftshopping, ofcourse. Me and my friend Lotta went today to a local shop here in Borlänge and found some small lovelyness that we brought home. I just adore the little ceramic heart that spells UNIK, swedish for Unique. It made me miss my ceramic lessonss i attended a couple of years ago. You can see what i made here.

During the weekend i went thrifting with my mum, and my oh my did i find cute stuff! I have had quite a busy weekend, so i have not had the time to unpack yet. But i will, promise!
In the meentime i though i ought to introduce my little precious to you: adoroble Pip. :)
She used to live with me and my ex but now days she keeps my mum company and i actually think she loves it. She has a big yard AND a little forest to play in and i have heard her storys about all the adventures she had encountered.

The other photo is one of my latest creations. Its a venetian mask in decoupage. The paper is from old childrensbooks in finnish and swedish. And no, ofcourse i did not harm innocent books...i just borrowed a couple of pages from already torned books that the local secondhand store were going to through away. So i just gave them new life...im not a monster. ;)
